Privacy policy
This page explains in plain words what the site does with the information it receives. The full legal text will replace it before launch.
Your email address
When you leave your address in one of the site's forms, it is passed to Systeme.io, the tool that sends Help Editions emails, for the sole purpose of writing to you. You check the consent box yourself before sending, and every email you receive has a one-click unsubscribe link. Your address is never sold, never passed on to a third party and never used for anything else.
Audience measurement
The site counts its visits with Umami, with no cookie and without identifying you. The Meta pixel is loaded only after you agree in the banner shown when you arrive. You can change this choice at any time.

ÉDITIONS AU SECOURS LTD is based in Mauritius, and its service providers are mainly in the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be transferred, stored and processed outside your province and outside Canada, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law. You have the right to:
- Access the personal information held about you, and learn how it has been used and to whom it has been disclosed;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Withdraw your consent at any time, for example to email updates or to the measurement tools.
If you live in Quebec, you may also ask to receive the information you provided in a structured, commonly used technological format, and ask that information about you stop being disseminated or that a link to it be de-indexed, where the law allows. No decision about you is made solely by automated means.
8. How to use your rights
Write to contact@help-editions.ca or use the contact form, saying which right you want to use. Help Editions answers within 30 days. To protect your information, you may be asked to confirm that you control the email address concerned.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, if you live in Quebec, with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
9. Email updates
Help Editions only emails you with your express consent, given when you check the box on the sign-up form yourself. Every email identifies the sender, gives its contact information and includes an unsubscribe link that works in one click. Your unsubscribe request takes effect without delay, and no later than the 10 business days set by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
10. Children
The site is not directed to children under 14, and Help Editions does not knowingly collect personal information from them without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe that a child has sent personal information through the site, write to the address above and it will be deleted.
11. Security and breaches
Traffic to the site is encrypted, access to the information is limited to the people who need it, and service providers are chosen for their security practices.
